These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to the quiz competition (“the Competition”)
run by the Charing Guild of Players. By entering, you agree to these friendly but
important rules.
1. Promoter

2. Eligibility
 Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
 Members of the Charing Guild of Players committee and their immediate
families are not eligible.
 One entry per person unless otherwise stated.
3. How to enter
 Complete the quiz as instructed.
 Entries must be received before [closing date and time].
 No purchase is necessary.
 Internet access may be required.
4. Competition type
This is a skillbased quiz competition.
 The winner will be selected from entrants who achieve the highest score.
 If there is a tie, a tiebreaker question will be used.
 If there are still too many tied entries after the tiebreaker, a random draw will
take place.
 The draw will be witnessed by two independent individuals who are not
connected with the Charing Guild of Players.
5. Prize
 The prize is one £120 voucher for [insert retailer/type of voucher].
 The prize is nontransferable and no cash alternative is available.
 Voucher terms set by the issuer apply.
6. Winner selection and notification
 The winner will be determined within 5 days of the closing date.

9. Disqualification
We may disqualify entries that are:
 Late, incomplete or illegible
 Submitted using automated methods
 In breach of these T&Cs
10. Liability

 Lost or delayed entries
 Any loss or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our
negligence
11. Changes to the competition
We reserve the right to:
 Cancel or amend the competition if necessary
 Substitute a prize of equal or greater value if required
12. Governing law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
